IACA knows no borders

The General Secretary of the Central Committee of the International Anti-Corruption Assembly (hereinafter referred to as the IACA) paid a working visit to Gomel, a city in Belarus, the second most populous city in the country.

On October 3, 2019, Vyacheslav Sayenko met with Deputy Chairman of the Economic Court of the Gomel Region of the Republic of Belarus Lisovsky Alexander Venediktovich. At the meeting, the topic of the judicial system, its differences in the twin countries, the possibility of mutual assistance, interaction and cooperation, as well as the acquisition of new knowledge and developments in the development of judicial reforms were discussed.

The head of the IACA managed to attend the court session and get acquainted with the rules of conduct of the media. Unfortunately, photography during the court hearing was not allowed due to the fact that a motion was not provided.

The IACA Secretary General will still have a series of meetings during the rally in the Republic of Belarus.
