Support from the Czech Republic to the Children’s Aid Centers

After the First UkrFest «Gratitude of the World from the Ukrainian People for the Humanitarian Component of the Victory» within the UA Event Projekt «THANK YOU» in Prague, according to the agreement with Josef Roušal, the founder of the entertainment and educational park Krtkův svět, who provided the territory for the Festival free of charge, 50% of the funds collected by him from the sale of entrance tickets to the territory of the park on June 1 and 2, 2024 during the Festival, was transferred to the charity fund «International Charity Help Corporation» for the Children’s Help Centers opened on the initiative of the International Anti-Corruption Assembly (Assembly) and with the support of the International Charity Help Corporation (Foundation) in different regions of Ukraine.

With these funds, representatives of the Assembly and the Foundation Vyacheslav Sayenko (author of UA Event Project «THANK YOU», Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Assembly), Vitaliy Rishko (Head of the Department of the Assembly in Prague), Edhard Moldovan (Assistant to the Head of the Representative Office of the Assembly in the Czech Republic) and Nataliya Ovsyanik (Assistant to the President of the Foundation) selected and purchased 100 school backpacks for first-grade children.

Immediately upon arrival in Ukraine, Vyacheslav Sayenko, Nataliya Ovsyanik and Bohdan Alechko (Deputy Head of the Assembly’s Coordination Center in the Zakarpattia region of Ukraine) sent this humanitarian aid from the Novaya Pochta post office in Khust to the Children’s Help Centers for displaced children, children from low-income and large families in Sumy, Volyn and Odessa regions.
