Doctrine of the UA Event Project “THANK YOU”

UA Event Project “THANK YOU” is an ecosystem that lives simultaneously on several levels:

Festivals — UkrFest “THANK YOU” takes place annually in Prague. A place where Ukrainians from around the world meet on one stage and say “Thank You” through their art. Where foreigners come and discover the real Ukraine — through song, dance, embroidery, cuisine, and live communication. Two festivals already took place in 2024. From September 2027 — annual international status. Opened and closed by the Anthem “THANK YOU”.

The Anthem — flies between festivals. All year long. Across all platforms. From person to person. Lyrics by Viacheslav Sayenko. Video by the IACA team. Already on YouTube. So that gratitude never falls silent between celebrations.

Badge of Honor — at every festival, volunteers unknown to the public are honored. Ordinary people who quietly saved others. The IACA tells their stories, and the whole world learns that they stood beside Ukraine when it mattered most.

Exhibitions and workshops — Ukrainian displaced persons present their talents. Embroidery. Beadwork. Painting. Cuisine. Art of Transformation — shell casings painted by children from a boarding school for the hearing and visually impaired.

Independence — the project does not receive state funding — this is a principle. Participation in the festival is free for everyone. We consciously open the stage to everyone who wishes to say “Thank You” through their art — without tickets and without conditions. Administrative expenses — venue rental, sound, lighting, logistics — are covered by the IACA’s own resources and donor support accepted exclusively under the condition of preserving the project’s complete independence.

Because a festival that depends on whoever pays for it is no longer people’s diplomacy. It is advertising.

The IACA chooses differently: an independent voice, even if it comes at a high price.

Ukraine speaks. The world listens. Hearts open. The project lives.
