International Anti-Corruption Assembly

Results of the business trip to the Czech Republic

Our team has returned from another business trip to the Czech Republic. This time, a series of official meetings were held in Prague with representatives of local authorities and public figures.
In this article, we decided to share some of the results of the trip.

UkrFest

On June 1 and 2, on the initiative of the International Anti-Corruption Assembly (Assembly) and with the support of the International Charitable Help Corporation (Foundation), the First UkrFest Festival «Gratitude of the World from the Ukrainian People for the Humanitarian Component of the Victory» was held within the framework of the UA Event Project «THANK YOU» (for more details, please read our article UkrFest «THANK YOU» in Prague).

The idea of the Festival was to express gratitude to the Czech people and the people of other countries who helped and continue to help people from Ukraine with humanitarian aid, moral support, shelter… To show that the people who took part in helping us did not do it in vain, that we are a decent people and are grateful for this help!

A tremendous amount of work was done: organizing communication with the bands, developing a scenario plan, searching for the territory for the Festival, organizing a concert program and a fair, etc…
Once again, we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who visited our Festival, especially to those who participated in it.

The first Festival of the UA Event Project «THANK YOU» has been held and has its results… The beginning has been laid…

Business meetings

During and after the UkrFest «Gratitude of the World from the Ukrainian People for the Humanitarian Component of the Victory», a series of official meetings were held, the subject of which was the main area of the Assembly’s activity – the fight against corruption.
Meetings with representatives of local authorities, Prague starostas, representatives of legal organizations... Official requests were made to resolve professional issues for further effective work of the Assembly’s Czech Representative Office. Future cooperation was discussed, Memorandums were signed and action plans were drawn up…

Humanitarian aid

Going on a business trip, the Assembly received a request from a military unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for a vehicle to perform combat missions, ensure a set of national security and defense measures, repel and deter the armed aggression of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine.
After some searching, the vehicle was found. In Germany…
On its way back to Ukraine, the vehicle was handed over to the representatives of the Assembly and delivered to the Transcarpathian region for further delivery to our military at the front.

We do not forget about our Children’s Help Centers.
After the Festival, Josef Roušal, the founder of the Krtkův Svět entertainment and educational park, transferred 50% of the proceeds from the entrance tickets for the period of June 1 and 2. With these funds, representatives of the Assembly selected and purchased 100 school backpacks for first-graders. Immediately after arriving in Khust, the humanitarian cargo was sent to the Children’s Help Centers for displaced children, children of military personnel, children from low-income and large families in Sumy, Volyn and Odesa regions. And thanks to the efficient and stable work of our logistics partner, the Humanitarian Post of Ukraine (Nova Poshta), the humanitarian cargo has already been delivered to its destinations.

Upon arrival in Kyiv, the Assembly’s headquarters hosted a meeting with IACA representatives from Spain to discuss the further development of the International Anti-Corruption Assembly and the international activities of its representatives. In a few days, a meeting with IACA representatives from the United States will take place…
Activities continue, agreements and arrangements bring results. Projects are being implemented.

And as they say: «Thought is material…»
