Philosophy of the UA Event Project “THANK YOU”

People’s diplomacy is not something financed by the state. It is something that goes from one human heart to another. When governments reach agreements, they sign papers. When people reach agreements, they embrace.

Ukraine is known through news about war. UA Event Project “THANK YOU” shows another Ukraine — alive, talented, beautiful, and grateful. A Ukraine that sings. That dances. That embroiders. That cooks borscht and shares it with neighbors. That transforms shell casings into art. That says “Thank You”. And this “Thank You” remains in the soul forever.

The IACA began telling the world about Ukraine back in 2015 — through forums, projects, and meetings. But in 2022, when the entire world opened its heart to Ukraine, a realization came: this is the best moment for people’s diplomacy. The doors are open. People are listening. They want to know Ukraine.
