Philosophy of the UkrFest “THANK YOU” Project

Ukrainians abroad are not refugees. They are ambassadors of their culture.

They bring into the world the beauty of embroidery, the power of music, the warmth of Ukrainian cuisine, and the dignity of a nation that fights.

UkrFest “THANK YOU” gave them a stage. Not to cry about war, but to show who they are. And at the same time to say to those nearby — “Thank you for welcoming us,” “Thank you for helping us,” “Thank you for not turning away.”

A “Thank You” that remains in the heart is not a word. It is a feeling a person experiences when they see living art. When they hear live music. When they taste living food. When they look into living eyes and understand — we are one human family.
