III Forum of the Coordination Committee of Public Councils of Ukraine
Today, May 20, in Kiev, the III Forum of the Coordination Committee of Public Councils of Ukraine took place.
Speakers of the Forum discussed all the pressing and problematic issues of the state of public activities of the PCU and identified the main objectives and a number of important tasks of the future public activities of the Committee.
Also, this form was attended by representatives of Kyiv District State Administrations, authorized representatives of regional “Public Councils” (Cherkassy, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kherson, Rivne, Donetsk, Lugansk, Volyn…), representatives of the Ukrainian side of the Ukraine-EU Platform, PC at various ministries and departments.
Public organization “International Anti-Corruption Assembly” was personally invited by the Steering Committee to participate in the III Forum of PCU.
On the part of the International Anti-Corruption Assembly (hereinafter referred to as the Organization), the III Forum of the Coordinating Committee of the PCU was attended by Vyacheslav Sayenko – Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Organization, Victor Badia – Head of the Organization’s Representative Office in Ukraine and Natalia Zubova – Deputy Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Organization.
During their speech at the Forum, the representatives of the International Anti-Corruption Assembly spoke about their new successful project – the Anti-Corruption Platform “Territory without Corruption”; presented the beginning of the International Anti-Corruption University, reported on the development of the Distance Learning Technology Complex “Virtual University”.
At the same time, the NGO “International Anti-Corruption Assembly” invited all interested parties, members of the PCU, to join the project – the Anti-Corruption Platform “Territory without Corruption”, and all interested parties – to undergo free distance learning and gain new knowledge in the field of combating corruption.
The second part of the Forum approved the guidance, structure and main directions of the Coordination Committee’s activities.
Due to the fact that the International Anti-Corruption Assembly is an expert in the field of anti-corruption, the Coordination Committee of Public Councils of Ukraine proposed Vyacheslav Sayenko to head the Anti-Corruption Commission under the CCPCU.
However, Vyacheslav Saenko proposed to appoint one of his deputies, Natalia Zubova, as one of the developers of the Distance Learning Technology Complex “Virtual University”, a lecturer in the field of anti-corruption, and as a specialist with 12 years of practical experience in control and auditing, internal / financial control, internal audit and public investigations.
In view of the above, the Coordination Committee of Public Councils of Ukraine adopted and unanimously approved the above proposal.
