During the panel discussion titled «Regenerative Taxation, Combating Corruption, and Humanitarian Perspectives» representatives from IACA and AGATA ECOSYSTEM participated. The discussion addressed innovations in research, the connection between regenerative taxation, analytics, and economic security in the fight against corruption, with a particular focus on humanitarian work.
Reg is not only an economic concept but also a tool for promoting justice and renewal. It serves as a means for transforming society, protecting humanitarian funds, advancing transparency, and providing real opportunities for both businesses and citizens in Europe.
At the European level, our priority is to ensure that funds allocated for humanitarian activities are used as intended. Our work extends to protecting resources from fraud and waste by leveraging advanced technologies to track every euro spent. Regenerative taxation plays a crucial role by offering sustainable alternatives to the shadow economy and providing opportunities for earning income legally and transparently, thereby reducing the temptation to engage in fraud and illegal activities.
From an Italian perspective, the issue of economic security is paramount. In recent years, we have witnessed a rise in fraud related to humanitarian aid, where funds intended for those in need have fallen into the hands of scammers, undermining trust in institutions and harming those who need support the most. Through regenerative taxation, we can create an environment where businesses find honest and sustainable profits, thereby reducing the appeal of illegal activities.
Well-structured regenerative taxation provides opportunities for businesses and individuals to step out of the shadow economy and contribute to the common good. Every person has the right to access the tax tools offered by the European Union, regardless of their country of origin, and these opportunities must be clearly communicated.
A fair and transparent tax system enhances the relationship between entrepreneurs and employees. Employees see the results of their work within an ethical and law-abiding context. – Claudio Armen, Secretary General of the Italian Federation of Workers.
In an era marked by rapid changes and unprecedented complexity, the high-level meeting provides a neutral, inclusive space for effective dialogue and collective action. The summit adheres to the highest standards of governance and integrity, guided by the principles of fairness, transparency, and the transformative power of human intellect.
Together, we strive to create a world where collaboration, mutual respect, and ethical practices pave the way for sustainable progress and positive change. By leveraging our collective experience and resources, we aim to promote a future characterized by social justice, global harmony, and innovative advancement.
