International Anti-Corruption Assembly

Secretary General, Central Committee

Viacheslav Sayenko

International Anti-Corruption Assembly (IACA)
In office since: September 2015

“In the world of anti-corruption and whistleblower protection, trust is the most valuable currency. Everything we have built over the past decade is founded on that principle.”

PROFILE

Viacheslav Sayenko is the founder and Secretary General of the International Anti-Corruption Assembly (IACA) — a civil society organization registered in Ukraine in September 2015.

CIVIC AND PROFESSIONAL CAREER

Viacheslav Sayenko has been active in civil society and human rights work since 2007, when he joined the NGO Committee for Combating Organised Crime and Corruption in Odesa, Ukraine. In February 2014, he was elected First Deputy Chairman of the Board, where he was responsible for building the organization’s institutional structure — experience that directly informed the founding of IACA in 2015.

He also co-founded IACA’s affiliated organization the International Charitable Help Corporation (October 2015, Honorary President).

EDUCATION

  • 1991–1993 — Enrolled at Yaroslavl Higher Military Financial College (Russia). Did not complete: returned to Ukraine in 1993 upon refusing to swear allegiance to the Russian Federation.
  • 2004–2009 — Bachelor’s degree with Honours, Organization and Management of Enterprise — Odesa European University, Ukraine

The decision to return to Ukraine in 1993, refusing to swear allegiance to the Russian Federation, reflects a lifelong commitment to Ukrainian sovereignty and institutional integrity — values that remain the foundation of IACA’s work.

NOTE ON MEMBERSHIP CONFIDENTIALITY

Given the sensitive nature of anti-corruption and whistleblower protection work, IACA maintains strict confidentiality regarding its full membership registry.
